Our Victorian Village hosts a multitude of events throughout the year for the enjoyment of locals and visitors alike. Some are traditions and some are just plain fun. The Humboldt County Fair is an old-fashioned American county fair with horse races, crafts, carnival rides, junior livestock auction, live music, art and great times for everyone. Memorial Day weekend sees the quirky Kinetic Sculpture Race, a 3-day event that was born in Ferndale many decades ago, roll into town following our Memorial Day Parade. The Christmas Season sees the Village all lit up and decorated for Ferndale’s Hospitality night, the lighting of the nation’s tallest living Christmas Tree, the Lighted Tractor Parade any many more holiday events.
