Bargain Lovers’ Weekend. IT’S A GARAGE SALE… IT’S A BARN SALE… IT’S A SIDEWALK SALE… IT’S A… BARGAIN LOVERS’ WEEKEND! It’s the biggest sale of its kind in the history of Humboldt County. From Main Street to side streets, the whole town takes part in this annual community yard sale the third weekend in September.  More than 100 different locations offer everything from antiques and collectibles, to household items and tools, to toys to clothing..and more! Just look for the bright yellow signs that mark each location. Make a day out of it and come for breakfast or lunch, then shop ’til you drop in and around historic Main Street. Some Thursday-evening previews with many sales Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday until noon.
